In November 2012 I have the tremendous honor to be collaborating again with the very talented Sue Spargo. We will be teaching a class together through Santa Barbara Quilting Retreats in Santa Barbara, California.

Because of this collaboration I have been working a bit more in wool. Sue is famous for her contemporary folk art designs that use a lot of wool and cotton together plus oodles of crazy, fun embellishments and stitching.

Sue and I are in the process of designing 2 small (20"x30") wall quilts using my house shapes in the center and her borders. Our styles are similar, yet different...if that makes any sense. We both love hand work. I am all about applique and she is too, but Sue also does amazing stitchery and embellishing.

It is going to be an amazing creative time at the beach. Hope you can join us.
