Welcome!I love to appliqué! My shapes
are whimsical and playful and I like to use unexpected fabrics whenever
possible. I also like to keep it light, as in fun, goofy and a bit
odd. 
I hope these quilts make you smile and inspire youto get out there and give hand appliqué a whirl. Think about it and know that with just alittle bit of practice you can fill many hours creating your own bright and colorful masterpieces.

 “Bertie” 36”x39” Here is a fun and silly “Bertie” to go with one of my houses. Not all together sure she is going to fit inside but I have a feeling she is going to give it her best shot at some point in time. |
 “Basket Case” 42”x42” How small can you go? These baskets are 2” finished with needle turned appliqué handles. This is a miniature version of “Dozens of Baskets” that is featured in my book, “Hand Appliqued Quilts, Whimsical Designs & Simple Techniques”. |
 “Small Wonders” 22”x18” More fun with houses! These are pieced by machine and the “shrubs” are hand appliquéd. This piece was a donation to a fundraiser for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show 2011. |
| The Raffle Quilt
The 2012 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show will be here before we know it! It is an honor and a privilege to have been asked to design and make the raffle quilt for this year’s event. The theme is “A Patterned Village”, and since I have been immersed in fun and funky houses for quite some time, it was a perfect fit. Tickets are available through the Stitchin Post in Sisters, Oregon. They are $1 each or six for $5 and the proceeds go to the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and Kiwanis of Sisters. Both organizations benefit the community and schools of Sisters. Don’t miss out on your chance to win this bright and colorful quilt and help support our community! |
